The PSAT 8/9 allows students to assess the work they have to do most to be ready for high school – and it helps educators lead the way.
The PSAT 8/9 explores the same skills and know-how for 8th and 9th graders as the SAT/PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 10. It tests what they already understand, tells them whether they are on their way to college and lets them know where changes are most needed. This ensures that students have time to discuss these problems well before taking SAT.
Cambium Assessment, Inc.TM (CAI), previously the AIR, delivers digital SAT, PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9.
PSAT 8/9 digital is the first SAT suite Digital Test available for all U.S. schools. Checkmarks. Your state or district decides how you conduct this exam, whether your school is subject to a State or district contract.

Students are quick to assess, even though their first digital testing is carried out on the commonly used CAI platform. They engage on the test in an area with which they are familiar, navigate between questions easily and flag others to come again later. The CAI platform is used by co-ordinators for maintaining lists, generating test tickets and setting up lodges. Proctors use it for testing time control. No test books are kept under lock and key, no replies. Configured students have the support to do the best they can. You will have access to the Student Digital Test Preview.
The versatile CAI Platform makes testing simpler for students with disabilities and less challenging. It also provides features like an integral clock, a computer, a highlight, a response remover, a zoom, and other instruments. Font and Color Settings may be adapted by the coordinators.
