About Gronigren
Groningen has something like 250,000 residents which makes it a great town, but pales in contrast to Utrecht’s millions of residents. The surprising thing as regards Groningen is that it tenders three of the major ‘things’ in Europe. The Drie Gezusters, located on the Grote marketplace is the major pub in Europe, amid a seating capacity of more than 3,700 guests and includes 20 bars underneath one roof! Every year, Groningen hosts the biggest introduction week for fresh students in Europe – The Kei-Week. In the past too, thousands of students would draw together in the city and become involved hundreds of events, large open-air parties and get to recognize the city. Groningen is also home to the major man-made outside climbing wall in Europe, it is situated in close proximity to the Kardinge sporting complex.

If you wish to register at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, you need to perform so on the Studielink website: www.hanze.studielink.nl. You can log in by means of a DigiD code. If you subsist outside the Netherlands and do not possess a DigiD, you can log in by way of a username/password.
The academic year begins on 1 September and ends on 31 August.
Application deadlines for September session:
Students with visa and / or a residence permit (non-EU/EEA) :1 June (1 May for Students from India, Pakistan, and Nepal)
Students without a the need of a visa/residence permit (EU/EEA): 15 August
